White pizza stack with Parma ham recipe

In case this culinary term is completely new to you, white pizza is basically a pizza that doesn’t contain sauce. Instead, it’s topped with cheese and any additions you may want to include. Our version features deliciously salty Parma ham and earthy spinach, making it a lighter version of traditional pizza that’s just as delicious. Enjoy your white pizza stack with Parma ham with a glass of dry rosé.

White pizza stack with Parma ham

Serves: 4
Cooking Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 150g cake flour
  • 5g instant yeast
  • 5ml (1 tsp) sugar
  • 150ml warm water
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 200g mozzarella, chopped
  • 200g Parma ham
  • 80g baby spinach
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1

To make the pizza, mix the flour, yeast and sugar, and add enough water to form a manageable dough.

2

Knead the dough for a few minutes on a lightly floured work surface. Place the dough in a bowl and cover. Leave the dough in a warm place until it doubles in size. Preheat the oven to 230°C.

3

Divide the dough into 12 x 30g balls and use a rolling pin to roll out each ball into a circle. Place on a baking tray and brush with the oil. Bake for 3 – 4 minutes.

4

Place one pizza on a serving dish and top with the mozzarella, ham, spinach and season. Continue until all of the ingredients have been used.

5

Drizzle the last bit of oil over the top and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
