H2Oh! How to jazz up your water jug

You can simply fill a jug with water or you can jazz it up in a flash with bursts of flavour your family and friends will gush about!

1.Flower Power

Elegant and oh-so-feminine, this is the perfect refreshment to serve at linger longer lunches with the girls Add 2 handfuls edible flowers (we used Sweet Williams) to a bottle or jug and top it up with 1L cold water.

2. The Detoxinator

Cucumber is the grand daddy of detoxifiers and blueberries the big mama of antioxidants, so make sure you gulp down the cleansing goodness of this combination with a light and healthy breakfast or brunch Add 2 handfuls shaved cucumber and 2 handfuls blueberries to a bottle or jug and top it up with 1L cold water.

With flavours that whisper of a romantic summer’s day in Provence, whipping up a carafe of this is the perfect excuse to pack a picnic basket à deux filled with French delights – think Brie, figs, brioche, duck pâté… Cut 2 pears into wedges and add to a carafe with 5 rosemary sprigs. Top it up with 1L cold water.

Make sure you regularly soak up the rejuvenating benefits of grapefruit and cucumber by keeping a jug of this in the fridge to fill up family’s and friends’ water glasses or the kids’ lunch-box water bottles. Add 2 thinly sliced grapefruits and 2 handfuls sliced cucumber to a bottle or jug, and top it up with 1L cold water.

6. A Zest for Life 

The ultimate refresher and immune booster, this vitamin C-loaded thirst quencher makes for a great way to start your day. Thinly slice 2 handfuls each of: lemon, lime and orange. Place the citrus in a bottle or jug and top it up with 1L cold water.
