The Lazy Makoti adds South African flair to Thanksgiving

November 21, 2022

Although Thanksgiving in November is traditionally an American holiday, Mogau Seshoene, aka The Lazy Makoti, demonstrated the value of giving thanks and showing appreciation for those around us – regardless of where we live.

Thanksgiving is all about sharing good food with friends and family, and reflecting on all that we’re thankful for. The Lazy Makoti did just that in a beautiful and heartfelt celebration in gratitude to her friends and family.

Pumpkin pie, turkey, mashed potatoes, and more are the foods of choice for a Thanksgiving celebration. We’re sharing a few of our own Thanksgiving-esque recipes to enjoy this week with your loved ones.
