Simple tips for smart food…

This gorgeous frozen presentation is great for serving cold soups, fruit salads or canapés such as oysters. Place a glass bowl on a baking sheet and place a smaller bowl inside the first bowl. Choose small edible flowers of your choice such as calendulas, carnations, geraniums, dahlias, dandelions and echinaceas.

Carefully place the flowers between the two bowls and fill the space with water. Freeze the bowl overnight. When ready to serve, rinse a kitchen cloth with hot water and wrap the bottom of the first bowl to release the finished ice bowl. If you find it difficult to release the bowls, don’t worry as the room temperature will release the bowl within 10 minutes.
