Uber is going to be running yet another (it’s fourth to be specific) ice cream delivery campaign this Friday – #UberIceCream. This means that for one day only in JHB, Cape Town and Durban you can order your helping of Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream straight to your door.
How it works: open your Uber app on Friday 24 July between 11am – 5pm, set your location and request your ice cream. It costs R80 for four tubs, and then delivery fees will be calculated according to Uber’s normal model.
Those who haven’t used Uber before can download the app and register using the code ICECREAMSA2015 – this will get you a free ice cream delivery!
As this is for one day only there could be high traffic volumes of #UberIceCream requests going in, and there is a limited availability to each province, so ensure you get your Uber app and fingers ready when the hour rolls in.
