Cheat's cupcakes and chocolate curls
Ingredients
- 400g plastic icing
 - 10ml vanilla extract
 - 12 vanilla cupcakes
 - 50g 70% dark chocolate, melted

															Put the icing into a bowl and mash well with a wooden spoon to soften. Add the vanilla and beat well with the wooden spoon to combine.

															Spread the icing on each cupcake as evenly as you can. You can be a bit messy as they look better when they’re a little rough around the edges.

		Curl the chocolate with a sharp knife and sprinkle on the top.
Notes
We bought a vanilla sponge cake mix, followed the box instructions and baked them in cupcake flutes in a muffin pan for 15 minutes until brown and well-risen.
