White chocolate mousse with red grapes recipe

Red grapes contain polyphenols (most concentrated in the skins and seeds) which help to protect against heart disease. So sure, white chocolate mousse with red grapes is a decadently delicious dessert, but you can’t deny that there are some health benefits. Go ahead and indulge!

White chocolate mousse with red grapes

Serves: 4
Cooking Time: 30 mins + extra, for setting

Ingredients

  • 45ml (3 tbsp) water
  • 10ml (2 tsp) gelatine
  • 200g white chocolate, chopped
  • 500ml (2 cups) fresh cream
  • 250ml (1 cup) red grapes, plus extra to serve
  • fresh mint leaves, to serve

Instructions

Place the water in a small bowl, sprinkle over the gelatine and leave to stand until the gelatine has dissolved.

Melt the chocolate with the cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Add the gelatine and stir for a minute to dissolve.

Pour the chocolate mixture into a mixing bowl and whisk until cooled.

Stir through the grapes and divide the mixture between 4 serving glasses. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.

Serve with the extra grapes and mint.
