Inspired by Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Cape Town Gin & Spirits Company is offering free Breast Cancer screenings at The Gin Emporium at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront from the 25th to the 27th of October, between 10am and 6pm.
No bookings are required, and it only takes 5 minutes for you to have your breast health checked. Screenings and self examinations are key to early detection.
In honour of this cause, they’re sharing a Cape Town Pink Lady Gin cocktail recipe: the Sugar and Spice.
This delicious treat combines a kick of spice with just a little something to satisfy the sweet tooth – the perfect drink to share with friends and raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer.
The Cape Town Pink Lady Gin is partnered with PinkDrive, a health sector NGO that highlights the importance of early detection of breast, cervical and prostate cancer in saving lives. For every bottle of Cape Town Pink Lady Gin sold, a portion of the proceeds goes towards this NGO to help contribute to the cause.
